Android 12 is the most personal operating system from Google yet, with dynamic color features that can customize your experience based on your wallpaper and responsiveness. It has released four beta versions until the end of August and, earlier this month, on September 8, it released the latest and last update to Android 12 Beta 5.This version comes with fewer errors and improved user experience on phones. Google is expected to release the Gold Master (final) version to the public between the end of September and the first week of October. The new Android 12 comes with a custom interface, security control shortcuts, privacy labels, and more.
DH has listed confirmed devices and those that are most likely to receive Google's latest mobile operating system. Samsung has updated the Galaxy A32 4G, released the Android 12 update to more regional versions of the Galaxy S51, and also expanded to several other devices. The Realme GT currently has early access to the Android 12 version, which uses a new smooth AI engine, a fluid space design with 3D icons and improved always-on screen features. Sony began releasing Android 12 on the Xperia 1 II, the Xperia 5 II, the Xperia Pro, the Xperia Pro-I and the Xperia 10 III in March.

Android 12 includes location and time zone detection, an optional automatic time zone detection feature that allows devices to use their location map and time zone data to determine the current time zone. It also allows you to flash vendor_boot's RAM disks using a fastboot command that extracts the full vendor_boot image from a device. Now that Android 13, or One UI 5, is on the way, Samsung is finishing its Android 12 (One UI) updates, with just a couple of budget Galaxy A phones still eligible by the end of August.
Like Pixels, Android 12 on Samsung devices forces all widgets to have rounded corners and also adopts a new design language for some of those widgets. LG V60 ThinQ T-Mobile version was also surprised by launching Android 12 despite never promising to do so. In late December, Samsung released the stable version of Android 12 for Galaxy Note 20 owners in some regions, and the update expanded to other regions over time. After installing an update for an Android Pony eXpress (APEX) container, its pre-installed version is no longer used but it takes up the same amount of memory space.
Android 12 introduces a feature that you can use to configure system languages and default regional settings filters for new types of devices. To improve security in the Android ecosystem, it has made it difficult to obtain the SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW permission and allows third-party applications to block overlays of other third-party applications.
