When Will Android 12 Arrive on Your Device?

Android 12 is now available for Google Pixel 3 and newer devices, and soon it will be available for Android One devices. Google has also announced that it will arrive for Samsung Galaxy, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, Xiaomi and Vivo devices later this year. If you have a compatible Google Pixel device, you can check and update your Android version to receive Android 12 wirelessly. As for the final version, it's already available in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), and the recently announced Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are expected to arrive with Android 12 shortly after the launch event. Android 12 is likely to reach most phones that were released in the past two years, although some may be waiting a long time.

However, it is guaranteed to reach all modern Pixel phones, probably from the Pixel 3 onwards to the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, since the Pixel 3 and 4a models are compatible with the beta version. Google has made sure that Android 12 is actually on the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones, which feature an on-screen fingerprint sensor, improved cameras and much more. Android 12 brings a lot of features to your device, including an updated design language no matter what Android phone you have, Material You theme options on the Pixel, and new privacy options. Realme will release Android 12 as part of the RealMe UI 3.0 update and there are many devices that will qualify for it. Meanwhile, OPPO has already released ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 in several eligible Asian territories for devices such as Find X3 series, Find X2 series, Reno6 series, Reno5 series, Reno4 series, F19 Pro+, F17 Pro, A94, A93, A74 5G, A73 5G, A54 5G and A53s 5G. Nokia has not yet committed to a schedule for delivering Android 12 to its phones.

Motorola seems to be in no hurry either. We'll keep track of updates across the Android universe over most of the next year. In line with Android 12L and iPad OS, MiUI experience for foldable devices with larger screens is modified. Developers can use generic system image (GSI) binary files for application testing and validation purposes on devices compatible with Treble. Android 12 also brings a redesign in the widgets area to match the color extraction you chose.

LG V60 ThinQ T-Mobile version was surprisingly launched with Android 12 despite never promising to do so. Google has announced a new material design language for Android 12 called Material You which involves a rethinking of the entire user interface of the entire operating system.
